KUALA LUMPUR, 26 May 2025 – Malaysian women’s national football team goalkeeper, Nur Azurin Mazlan, has etched her name in the history books by becoming the first Malaysian player to win the Albanian Women’s Super League title for the 2024/25 season.
The 25-year-old footballer clinched the prestigious title with Albanian club KFF Vllaznia, who sealed their victory after a commanding 2-0 win over Partizani in the Grand Final. This triumph marks the 12th league title for KFF Vllaznia, further solidifying their dominance in Albanian women’s football.
For Azurin, this victory holds special significance as it is her first major trophy since beginning her football journey abroad. Her achievement not only underscores her talent and perseverance but also places her among a select group of Malaysian athletes making their mark on the international stage.
The league triumph also guarantees KFF Vllaznia a place in the 2025/26 UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying rounds, offering Azurin and her team a shot at European glory.
Azurin’s international football career has seen her don the colours of clubs outside Malaysia before this historic win. She previously played for Misaka United in India and KFF Presingu in Kosovo, gaining valuable experience and recognition.
